My Review of the Star Wars Dine-in Galactic Breakfast at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater at Hollywood Studios
Update 5/10/14 Added examples of the bonus content photos you receive to the bottom of the post.
Our day began by arriving at Hollywood Studios about 7:30 am. We saw that there were two signs in the character meal area on the far left of the entrance points. We headed for the right line for the Star Wars meals. A few other people lined up behind us and a couple were in front. A guy in front said one lady told him to get in the back of the single line on the left and another lady told him to get in the Star Wars line on the right.
Thanks to several different Limited Time Magic events, some characters offering new regular meets and some Epcot character training, 2013 provided me with the opportunity to meet more than 20 new characters. I thought it might be fun to rank the top 13 meets that were new to me and open up the rankings for some discussion.
We’ve had the opportunity to meet Liverlips, Wendell and Big Al numerous times at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot training, but Shaker was always elusive to us. Many years ago, he appeared at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, but things changed. In 2013 the Magic Kingdom entertainment decided to bring him back with the other Country Bears for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for a group meet and greet. We met them right after the parade for a very short wait.
New for Star Wars Weekends 2013 is Greedo. He has appeared in the parade for years, but hasn’t been available for meet and greets. He appears in the late afternoon in the Backlot area and joins the other bounty hunters as a roaming character. The guy wouldn’t stand still. I took 20 photos of his ear because he kept moving away from the camera. I finally waited on him near the exit/entrance area and got a nice close up (above) and a wave goodbye. Catch him at Star Wars Weekends!
This is parade Greedo. I actually liked his costuming better than the meet and greet character.
