Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dinner at Hollywood and Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios review

Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dinner at Hollywood and Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

This Star Wars dinner has a totally different feeling and appeal to it than its breakfast counterpart.  The breakfast meal is in a really dark environment and features dark characters (except Jawas) and they provide movie clips.  (recently added more content to the breakfast post, so you might want to click the link to check out the additions).

The Jedi Mickey’s dinner provides a much lighter feeling.  It’s bright and vibrant and there’s upbeat music playing.  It features some great classic characters that includes Chip n Dale as Ewoks, Jedi Mickey, Princess Leia Minnie, Darth Goofy and Stormtrooper Donald.  You can meet these same characters in the park during Star Wars Weekends in these costumes, but expect long lines and Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy rotate often.

Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dine cost information:

The cost of this Star Wars character meal is $55.99 for adults 10 and over and  $32.99 for children 3 to 9 years of age.  If you’d like to make it a Fantasmic! dining package the cost is slightly more at $59.99 for adults and $36.99 for children.  The meal will also include a FREE digital download of Ewok Chip n Dale. The meal will begin serving at 4:15pm daily and close with the park.

The Disney Star Wars Characters in attendance:

Chip n Dale as Ewoks

Ewok Chip n Dale are the official greeters of Jedi Mickey’s dinner at Hollywood and Vine.  They appear with a giant logo background right as you enter the restaurant.  They do not move about the restaurant, they are in a fixed location.  Meeting Chip and Dale at Jedi Mickey's Star Wars character dinner

Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dine

My review:  http://kennythepirate.com/2014/05/10/jedi-mickeys-star-wars-dinner-at-hollywood-and-vine-in-disneys-hollywood-studios-review/

The Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dine at Hollywood and Vine DINNER (Breakfast and Lunch will continue to be Disney Jr Characters) will offer Star Wars fans the opportunity to meet Jedi Mickey, Princess Leia Minnie, Chip n Dale as Ewoks, Donald as a Stormtrooper and Goofy as “Darth Goofy.”  These are the exact same costumes the characters wear in the park, but there will be no waiting in the sun and you’ll be guaranteed to meet them all!  The cost of this Star Wars character meal is $55.99 for adults 10 and over and  $32.99 for children 3 to 9 years of age.  If you’d like to make it a Fantasmic! dining package the cost is slightly more at $59.99 for adults and $36.99 for children.  The meal will also include a digital download of Ewok Chip n Dale. The meal will begin serving at 4:15 daily and close with the park.

 Star Wars Dine-In Galactic BREAKFAST

My Review:  http://kennythepirate.com/2014/05/04/my-star-wars-dine-in-galactic-breakfast-review/

The other great Star Wars character dining experience is known as the Star Wars Dine-In Galactic BREAKFAST (The other meals are still standard ala carte dining with no characters).  The characters for this meal include Darth Vader and Stormtroopers, Boba Fett, Greedo and Jawas (ready to trade with you).  There will be no sci-fi movie trailers, instead they will offer clips from Star Wars movies.  The cost is $47.99 for adults 10 and up and $29.99 for children 3 to 9 years of age.    Reservations for this meal are accepted from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon.

For those using the Disney Dining Plan, each meal requires TWO Disney Dining plan credits.

Booking began this morning.   Sorry I was unable to post earlier, but I was at work.  Disney recommends you call 407 WDW DINE, but I called 407-WDW-CREW (Pirate 🙂 and requested dining reservations and the lady knew exactly what I was looking for.  The process only took me about 5 minutes.  I was able to book the first breakfast at 8:00 am and a 4:55 pm dinner.  These meals cannot currently be booked online or via the Disney app.  A credit card is required for guarantee and the typical $10 per person cancellation charge will apply if you fail to cancel by midnight the night before your meal.

Make those reservations now, these meals are sure to fill up quickly!  Hope to see you there.
