Where in the World is Anna and Elsa?
This is the most popular question I receive in emails and messages across the on internet. Anna and Elsa are really popular right now and guests clamor to find them on their Disney World vacation. I though it might help to detail this.

Where do Anna and Elsa offer meet and greets?
Anna and Elsa only offer meet and greets in the Magic Kingdom. They are currently available pretty much all day including all Extra Magic Hours. You can find their schedules on my Magic Kingdom characters schedule or use my Character Locator app. The Frozen sisters meet and greet does offer Fastpass+, but those FP+ are often booked 60 days in advance by guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort. If you have difficulty locating fastpass for Anna and Elsa, try the tips I’ve included in my post on How to find difficult Fastpasses.
When they first moved to the Magic Kingdom, they met together in the same photo. They still meet in the same room, but now the photos are separated. Anna is on one side of the room and Elsa is on the other side. Lately the lines have been in the 1.5 to 2 hour range on most days.
Festival of Fantasy Parade in Magic Kingdom
The daily parade is usually offered at 3:00pm daily, but times vary during holiday periods, so be sure to check on the date of your visit. Anna and Elsa are included on the beautifully designed princess float. However, the area of the float that they appear rotates and the other side shows Tiana and Naveen. Many guests have been disappointed that they couldn’t get a good view or photo of the sisters during this parade.
TIP: The parade travels from Frontierland to Main Street. Try viewing the parade at a point that the parade turns because it slows down in those areas. Good choices would include: Liberty Square near the Riverboat or Liberty Bell, The Castle Hub or Main Street Town Square.
Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome (Until September 1)
As a part of the Frozen Summer of Fun Live! celebration guests can see Anna and Elsa along with Kristoff in a brief parade and introductory show at the Sorcerer Hat. The parade features “snow” only in the Hollywood Boulevard area. The celebration is supposed to end September 1, but Disney could extend it if they see fit. This event takes place daily at 11:00am.
TIP: The parade begins on the end of Hollywood Boulevard, stops at the Sorcerer’s Hat for the show and ends at Star Tours. The best viewing locations on Hollywood Boulevard are often taken 30-60 minutes before the parade. If you only wish to see the parade portion, the American Idol steps would be a great location. If you wish to take 3.5 million photos of Kristoff, stand near the American Idol entry because his float stops there during the brief Sorcerer’s Hat show.
This video shows the welcome show portion on the stage. It begins about 2 minutes into the video.
You can find additional photos of the full parade here: http://kennythepirate.com/2014/07/06/kennythepirates-daily-adventure-day-5-anna-and-elsas-royal-welcome-parade-featuring-kristoff/
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-a-long Celebration (Until September 1)
The Frozen Sing-a-long has been a big hit with guests, especially young children who love to sing the familiar songs. The majority of the experience is led by two “citizens of Arenndale” who are quite funny. Anna makes a brief appearance at the beginning and returns at the end with Elsa and Kristoff. If you love singing the familiar songs, this is a fun way to see your favorite characters. I wish the characters had led the entire sing a long, but they don’t.
TIP: You can pick up a FREE fastpass type ticket by going to San Francisco Street on the Streets of America near the Premier Theater. Cast Members are now allowing guests to choose the time that best fits their schedule. The show lasts 20 minutes.
Songs included in the show are:
- Do you want to build a snowman?
- For the first time in forever
- Love is an open door
- Let it go
- In summer!
- Let it go (Reprise led by Elsa)
Here’s a video of the introduction to the show.
