Mickey and Minnie to receive makeover for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2012

Mickey and Minnie’s new Halloween Party Costumes for 2012
The image above was from the Disney Parks blogand mentions that this is Mickey and Minnie’s new costumes for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2012.”First, it’s Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dressed in their Halloween park attire. Cody Reynolds, senior character artist with Disney Design Group, explained how Mickey got his hat as seen in the plush above.”

There is additional evidence that Minnie will indeed appear in the new orange and black polka dot witch costume for the parties.  It was found in a separate Disney Parks blog post that discusses an all new Minnie Witch makeover for the the Halloween parties.

I don’t think the kids actually get to pose with bunnies.

“Simply be ”witching” is the best way to describe the Minnie Witch transformation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Fantasyland at Disneyland park. Whether you create your own sense of style with this look or add it to one of the “boo-tiful” princess costumes available, it’s sure to make you the belle of the ball. Valiant Knights, don’t despair – our fairy-godmothers-in-training will help prepare you for battle as well as you take on this spirited holiday.

Additional evidence of the new costumes in this piece.
These are the costumes that Mickey and Minnie wore for 2011 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.  The images are from the Unofficial Disney Character Hunting Guide, which offers a terrific Facebook page and Twitteraccount to see rare character appearances as they happen.

  1. Do you know if we can still buy Halloween costumes in Magic Kingdom or DTD without making an appointment with Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? I’m not sure whether to buy costumes before we travel or once we arrive in WDW? Many thanks.

    1. We just got back Saturday from Disney. I saw kid costumes everywhere in the Magic Kingdom and the other parks. Even Pop Century’s gift shop had the Minnie Halloween dress for sale. I saw everything from the classic princesses to pirate costumes, Merida, Tinkerbell, etc. Have fun! 🙂
